Description
Spiral move that Thomas and Cyrille discovered in 2009 Firedrums. The spiral can be continued infinitely very easily.
Practice method
Practice with one Poi.
- rap poi around your wrist, and unwrap as the other direction.Keep wrapping and unwrapping untill you feel comfortable with it. Do the same thing with the other hand.
- Wrap poi around your wrist once, ant hold your hands togerther. Poi wrap your wrist togerther. Make sure that poi does't wrap your hands, but wrist.
- Keep holding hands togerther, then keep wrapping and unwrapping untill you feel comfortable with it. Do the same thing with the other hand.
Practice with 2 Pois.
- Spin poi in front of you in split time. Wrap around wrist separately. Unwrap, and wrap the other direction. Keep doing this untill you feel comfortable with it. Try keep the rhythm in Split time.
- Spin poi in front of you in split time Wrap around wrist once, and hold hands togerther. Poi wrap around your wrist togerther, if you spin poi in right ungle with your hands, it automatically wrap your wrist. Twist, untwist your hands ant poi will get more even position.
How to go out from sprial
If you started by the clockwise spinning, you can go out with relesing hands on the other directon counter clock wise.
If yoiu release hands on the same direction as you came in, you will get poi shorter.
For safety
Don't do this move without protector! This move can burn your wrist very heavily!!

This move requires stronger chains and swivels than just about any move.
I broke 200 pound test weight swivels two different times.
I've been using 300 pound swivels since then and had no problem.
Wow, I haven't broken any swivel yet. I feel it's painful after couple of second, so I can't do this move so long. Thank you for the information about it.
